​‘มอส’ ศัลยแพทย์หนุ่มมาบอกลา ‘แม่’ ครั้งสุดท้าย ในห้องดับจิตผ่านการไล่ย้อนตอบข้อความที่เคยถูกดองไม่ต่างจากร่างกายของเธอตอนนี้ที่ได้เข้าสู่กระบวนการเตรียมถนอมบริจาคเป็นอาจารย์ใหญ่ ก่อนที่ ‘ลิน’ แฟนสาวปรากฏกายขึ้นพร้อมกับกล่องพัสดุปริศนาที่คล้ายว่าจะเป็นความลับที่ถูกผนึกไว้ โดยเฉพาะความสัมพันธ์แตกหักระหว่างมอสกับ ‘พ่อ’ ที่กำลังจะเกิดใหม่อีกครั้งกับชีวิตใหม่ในฐานะนักแสดงละครเวทีหลังภรรยาตาย
 
  เมื่อกาลเวลาไม่สามารถถนอมความลับของพวกเขาได้อีกต่อไป การมาถึงชะตากรรมของ ‘ฤดูเน่า’ ระหว่าง 3 คนและ 1 ศพจึงเริ่มต้นขึ้น
 
  A surgeon, Moss, comes to the morgue to say his final goodbye to his mother. As he goes back through and responds to old messages that had been left unanswered for so long, her body is now undergoing the preservation process to be donated as a cadaver for medical education.
 
  Then Lyn, his girlfriend, appears with a mysterious package—one that seems to contain a sealed secret. At its heart lies the fractured relationship between Moss and his father, a man who is about to begin a new life as a stage actor following the death of his wife.
 
  When time can no longer preserve their secrets, the fate of ‘season of rot’ begins to unfold between three people and one corpse.
