เรื่องย่อ / Synopsis

​

  ถ้าเกิดคุณเจอผู้หญิงที่มาจากยูโกสลาเวีย
  คุณคิดว่าคุณจะคุยกับเธอรู้เรื่องไหม
 
  เธอตายแล้ว หลุดพ้นสักทีจากชีวิตกับระบอบคอมมิวนิสต์ในยุโรปตะวันออก
 
  ตอนนี้เธอกำลังรอขึ้นรถไฟที่จะพาไปโลกหน้า แต่รอเท่าไหร่รถไฟของเธอก็ยังไม่มาสักที คน (?) อื่น ๆ ที่เล่าเรื่องของตัวเอง ก็เข้าใจอะไรสักอย่าง บรรลุอะไรสักอย่าง แล้วไปเกิดใหม่ได้
 
  แต่เธอยังติดอยู่ที่เดิม พร้อมกับสัญญาณของอันตรายบางอย่างที่กำลังคืบคลานเข้ามา เหมือนช่วงต้นปี 1991 ที่มีข่าวลือว่าจะเกิดสงคราม แล้วทหารก็มาเคาะประตูบ้าน แล้วเธอก็ทำอะไรไม่ได้เลยนอกจากรอ
 
  If you met a woman from Yugoslavia, would you even try to hear her out? Doesn’t matter—she’s already dead. Finally free from the dreadful life of Eastern European Communism. Now, she’s stuck here, waiting for a train to take her to the afterlife—a train that might never come. Meanwhile, other dead people seem to easily escape this damn room. All they do is yap on, stumble upon some kind of truth—and poof!—they’re gone. Yet she is still here. Something is lurking around this waiting room. A threat that feels far too much like 1991. War is coming, they said. A soldier keeps banging on her door. Trapped, she has no choice but to sit and wait.
